IFT16 Annual Meeting Re-Cap

Kinsa Group Vice President and Executive Recruiter Laurie Hyllberg shares a re-cap of the IFT16 show held last week in Chicago.

Did you get a chance to walk the IFT Expo floor at McCormick Place Chicago at all last week? I did and would like to share my IFT16 re-cap with you.

The show was well attended by leadership in the food ingredient category as well as product developers from a wide variety of food processors. Kinsa Group staff enjoyed the opportunity to meet many of our long-time contacts face-to-face and consult about the future recruiting needs of their organizations. We also had a number of talented professionals stop at our booth and inquire about getting connected with our recruiters about current job openings. I hope you made good use of all the networking opportunities that the IFT provided as well.

Career Center LIVE Sponsor

Kinsa Group was a sponsor of the IFT Career Center LIVE event on Sunday afternoon. With the lines I observed, it looked like a strong turnout for employers who did the speed-interviewing exercise as they sought out their next talented contributor. I waited in line to say hello to a few employers, and passed them a business card letting them know that Kinsa Group may be a great recruiting resource for those food and beverage companies who did not find the specific talent they were seeking at the trade show event. We also had some of the actively interviewing talent stop by our booth to make sure they got registered with Kinsa Group’s recruiting team.
