Possesses diverse experiences in multi-sites global manufacturing, business and operations management in the Agriculture, Animal & Human Ingredients and Nutrition space including Nutraceuticals, flavors and RTE food with extensive expertise in areas such as strategic planning and deployment, sales & marketing, engineering, supply chain, operational excellence initiatives development and implementations, processes optimization, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), private equity and public investors’ relations, finance, profit & loss reporting, (P&L), financial turnarounds, start-ups, building and scaling up businesses, budgetary oversight and building high performance management teams resulting in companies sustainable profitability and value creation.
•Developed a written strategic plan for the company and implemented the structure necessary and critical operational controls, which supported scaling up the business manufacturing capability by more than 10 times in one year.
•Retooled and built an entire business infrastructure, strategic vision and plan, operational controls and a high-performance management team that led to increasing revenues by 40% and net income by 100% in the first year, and free cashflow by 800% and more than doubled company valuation in less than four years, which resulted in a very profitable sale of the business to its largest customer and 9 months later to the J.M. Smucker Company.
•Led and assisted in the due diligence, acquisition and integration of five successful accretive transactions.
•Developed and implemented a financial pricing model that allowed the business to capture consistent high margins and reduced pricing turn-around time to customers from 30 days to 30 minutes.
•Conducted financial evaluation of company-wide supply chain management system, which led to $2.0 million in freight cost savings and $3.0 million in “Logistics Network” optimization.
•Subject Matter Expert in Lean Manufacturing initiatives identification, design and implementation.
•EDUCATION: MBA from Maryville University in St. Louis, MO.
B.S in Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, MO.
