VP CPG Sales & Distribution (Charlotte, NC or Relocation) – Beverages, Shelf-Stable CPG Food Products, Dairy, and Frozen Foods

Seeking a role as: VP of Sales or Senior Sales leadership in the food or beverage industry. Has worked in very large as well as growing smaller entrepreneurial companies.  Most recently taking $73 million company to $350 million in 6 years and through multiple private equity sales.

In Location: Currently living in Charlotte, NC (would consider relocation to Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, South Carolina, or Texas).  Also willing to work remotely and travel.

Skills:

  • Extremely experienced in sales leadership – has held roles in virtually any and all senior level sales leadership positions at both a smaller CPG as well as some of the very largest in the industry, most recently as the Vice President of Sales and Distribution.
  • Organizational structure and design – experienced at building teams from the ground up (good2grow) as well as major organizational restructure at very a very large CPG company (Nestle USA)
  • Route to market expertise – has constructed, implemented and contracted a 3rd party DSD national external DSD network at both a small company and extremely large one.
  • Trade management and headquarter business planning -has managed a sales budget of over $1 billion in retail sales and deployed a trade budget of $144 million.
  • Extremely experienced in category management and consumer insights and analytics – Classically trained at the very highest level at the Coca-Cola Company.

Compensation: Base salary expectation dependent on size of company and responsibilities but likely in the $250,000+ range plus incentives

Education:  BS in Marketing from Clemson University, also participated in the Cornell Food Executive Program
