Director of R&D (Denver or relocation) – Frozen food, Processed Meats, Bakery products


This candidate is seeking a role as: Sr. Director/Director/Manager/Head of R&D
In Location: Currently living in CO, open to relocation within the U.S.
Company size: Open to small to medium size


  • Extensive background in new product innovation – from concept to commercialization, renovation and process development and optimization
  • Vast experience in Retail (branded) and Foodservice product development.  Served as the technical interface on customer accounts.
  • Proven ability to develop technical business agendas with cross-functional partners, create innovation pipelines and coach/direct high-performance teams
  • Experienced in working with Operations and Engineering on yield/process improvement initiatives
  • Partnered with Procurement as R&D lead to identify feasibility and execute ingredient cost savings/sole source supplier initiatives

Compensation: Base salary expectation dependent on cost of living and responsibilities but likely in the $150,000-180,000 range plus incentives

Education: MS in Meat Science
